The SSHC aims to rehabilitate the destitute, provide food hampers, clothings to the underprivileged families.
Stop AIDS events
This campaign was launched in December 2008 in partnership with trained volunteers from New Start, to help fight the HIV/AIDS pandemic through education, voluntary testing, counselling and lifestyle awareness programmes.

SSHC soup trailer feeding the hungry
The Shoprite soup trailer visits different areas around Gauteng, feeding the underprivileged community members through out the locations of Soweto; Alexandra; kagiso and many others. we have also reached out to schools around Soweto; as the SSHC has managed to feed about 300 primary school pupils; and also giving out bread donated by DF bakery.
